The Holy Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said: It (Ramadan) is the month, whose beginning is mercy, its middle, forgiveness and its end, emancipation from the fire (of hell).
The first ten days of Ramadan are the days of Mercy and blessing and every Muslim must seek the Mercy and Blessings of Almighty Allah.
Dua for the first 10 days
رَبِّ اغْفِرْ وَارْحَمْ وَأَنْتَ خَيْرُ الرَّاحِمِينَ
Translation: O! My Lord forgive and have Mercy, and You are the Best of Merciful
(Surah Al-Mu’minun, Ayat 118 )
The Holy Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said: On the first night of Ramadan, Allah الزواجل sees His creation with mercy, and if Allah sees any of His servants with mercy, He will not punish that servant. He frees one million (sinners) from Hell every day, and on the 29th night sets free as many as were freed throughout the month.
